lookin for a park to drop my trailer off and wanted to get some recommendations....I'll be using it prolly every 2-3 weeks and will want to store it there....would prefer the az side, but will consider cali
Here is what I'm looking for:
1..launch ramp
2..some grass area
3..if on the ca side will need a store
4..not too rowdy, but no blue hairs (hope I dont offend)
5..waterfront hookup's
6..I think I need 50 amp hook up
7..not huge, but a place to use a golf cart would be nice.
8..no crazy curfew
9..they have to accomodate a 36 footer
not in any order....

My friend leaves his at Echo year round. When he wants to come down they bring it out for him and put it in a spot so its ready for him when he gets there.

Big bend on Cal side 760 663-3755 they offer everything on your list but the grass.
River lodge just up the road from big bend offers just about everything on your list.(cal side)
Castle rock on AZ side.
Best thing to do is go out there and drive through each park one Sat afternoon.

Fox's or Red Rock is your best bet on the AZ side. The State and County Parks don't store your rig or take reservations.
On the California Side, Big Bend, Echo, River Lodge or Emerald Cove, although I think Emerald Cove is a Membership Park.
Blue Hairs are unavoidable in the fall, winter and spring, but disappear in the Summer.

For the money I would go to Riverland on the CA side. They have a gas dock, store and a great ramp. With terrific camp sites. The managers are the best!

Emerald Cove (on the Cali side) you can buy a lifetime membership online (used) for about a grand. other cost are:
$400 a year in dues,
$20 a month for storage
$25 to pull your rig down & hook it up
Has 3 pools, 2 spas with outside Bar & Grill
Good store & good ramp
Restrooms with showers
and it has one of the best beaches in Parker.
And they have a Kids Club with supervision all day.
It's a pretty nice setup.

Branson's. My wife and I recently sold our mobile home there and it is an awesome park. Jeannie the owner does rent out spaces to trailers for extended periods.
Private launch ramp at the park and walking distance to Road Runner, if needed.

Lastly, lots of grass area, plenty of Golf cart room, (we had one there) and most importantly the docks at Bransons are really easy as they keep your boat horizontal to the shore. I docked my 33 Daytona there all the time. There are 2 docks big enough for your 36.
