Out here, Lake Mead is holding its own at -99, but Powell dropped another 2 to reach a -136 (according to the NPS, see lake levels) Hope there a lot of wet snow pack in the western Rockies

I start my new job on Monday and they just told me that their street floods when it rains like this so I need to bring rain boots!!!! Hellooooooo :p
I guess I am going to Walmart to find rain boots for Monday and ponchos for the Supercross tomorrow.

Nothing would make me happier than to have a record snowpack in the Sierras.
Don't want to ignore the problems and losses that the heavy rains in SoCal sometimes bring (flooding, mudslides, freeway closures, etc.), but we really need the water. As others have pointed out, the wet weather now pays off this summer in terms of higher water levels, no lake closures, etc.
And, my wife's a mid-Western native...a little weather every now and then keeps her happy. :)

Had a friend that stored his Master Craft at a mini storage lot in the open. Forgot to pull the plug..... Water up to the manifolds :jawdrop: Believe it or not, no damage to the motor. The interior was a bit greasy though :D

I am happy that the rain is here, but it really keeps messing up my plans to bring the boat back into town and do some minor work on it. Hopefully the rain will continue east of CA where it is needed most.

That sucks! we did a boat last year that the customer left outside with no cover and the plugs in. He did no t use the boat for 3 years and never bothered to check on it. What an idiot. Even worse it was a 25ft eliminator eagle. He pretty much ruined a good boat he said it was never the same after that. :hammer2:
