The first baseman who was tossed the ball for the final out, for the 1st World Series Championship for the Red Sox will not give the ball back!!! He says it's is and he is keeping it! LOL.....he says it's value is much more than any home run ball hit and he plans on keeping it in the hopes that he doesn't have to sell it one day!@#%
The Red Sox say it belongs to the team.........MLB says it's his. He put it in his locker, then gave it to his wife who put in her purse and left that night.

At least someone was thinking. It should be a nice nest egg when he can't play anymore.

Those were exactly his words...........he said, he'd like to keep for sentimental value, but if things ever were needed for his family, it's a nice thing to have in his back pocket! Bawahahhhhhaaaaaa :rollside:

I know at Dodger's games the announcer says any balls hit into the stands you can keep. So what's the difference. The Sox are just mad they can't cash in on it.
