San Diego in their off season will be looking for a extra point kicker.
I know some of us are looking for a side gig...

Marty should have tried the filed goal on 3rd down just in case the rookie crumbled, would have given him an extra try, the coach phucked this one up, too much pressure for his 12 yr. old kicker, IMO...

..if he would have kicked the ball on 3rd down and missed they would have turned the ball over to the Jets (even if SD would have recovered a blocked kick it still would have been turned over). The only reason to try to on 3rd down is if you mishandle the snap you still get your 4th down. If you kick it and miss (or gets blocked) it's the Jet's ball.

It shouldn't get down to the fact weather or not your kicker puts the game away.
The offence needs to execute and put the game away way before it gets to that.
Relying on your kicker to win the game is wrong.
