Ok I know it belongs in tow rigs but man it's real slow there. Just got a new to me f-250 cc4x4 and cant stand the way the thing sits,to low in front. I was thinking about a leveling kit in the front and running 33' or the 4.5 lift and running 35's what do you think? I really dont want to lose to much power, will the 35's be too much? Oh yeah it's a v10 all replies welcome, well at least the good ones :D

You may have to re-gear it.

I have a 4.5" lift on my Excursion and run 35's with no problem so I would think you would be ok.

You'll be fine going up one or two sizes with the v10. I'm running 33s on a stock 96 Bronco with no problems at all. My oldest son inherited my 93 F250 and put on a 6" lift with 12.5 x 37 SuperSwampers. He is running a 5.8 with a little juice, but still has no problem with power. He is planning on 15.5 x 38's so he will need to re-gear with 4.11s and lockers.
The only thing that I could recommend, is try looking at the 12.5 by whatever (33, 35, 37's). This will give you the height and look you want, but with only 11” on the road, not as much drag. The more rubber on the ground the crappier the gas mileage.
It’s not to bad to tow with the bigger tires either. We use my son’s truck to launch our 27’ Express fisher. It’s 9000+ pounds with a folding tuna tower. To make things worse, the ramps here in Fla. are short and steep because of the tides and currents. However, it will drag it out as well as it did when stock.

If you put on the leveling kit, you would be able to run 35's no problem. I have an '04 and I was running a set of 35's bone stock. They did rub a little bit on the back of the wheel wells when turned full lock, but not too bad. I drove it for 4k miles before I got a 6" lift on 37's.

I am going with the edge kit just not sure if I want the 3inch hanger or the 4.5 kit. The 3 inch is actually for a 350 but can be used with a 250, but I might have to add a 1 or 2 in block in the back. Any thoughts, do you recommend 35's By the way your rig look's very nice

It's the diesel. Here's a pic. My lift made it look more like a truck and less like a station wagon. Mine is the Edge kit also.

Nice rig Matt...my only concern is since it's a v10 how much power I will lose going to 35's, really don't want to get into gear change and that stuff, but still want it to look decent

I wouldn't think you would have a problem with losing a bunch of power. The tires aren't huge compared to the stock ones. They only thing you might want to do is recalibrate your speedometer because it will read about 5 mph slower. But then again it'll show less miles on your odometer. I just left it like it is.
