First river trip

Just curious when most people start heading back out to the lakes? not counting the year round peeps. We have snowbirds in our place until March 31 so we cant go till after that, and I am ready to go

Already been once this year. In fact it was this last Thursday and Friday. Weather was nice Thursday and a little rain on Friday. Unfortunately it wasn't a trip to be on the water, but somethimes it just feels great to be there instead of home.
There's something about getting past Barstow, once I hit the 40, I just get into River mode, felt great...

The 18th thru the 28th of March for us. Spring Break at Havazoo. I will make a quick run to Havi in late Feb to get the boat all setup so we won't have to do anything when we get there.

You missed it HavaTan ... Saturday was pretty nice. Sun was out, about 63. Spent about 4 hours on the water. A pretty good showing in the channel too. :devil:

First trip every year is Easter in Parker. Annual camping trip at LaPaz campground. Thats if it ever stops raining! :cool: :cool:

Damn LilHarley...I'm definitely sorry I missed that. I had to leave on Friday because I had tickets to the Chargers' game. Gotta go to the boatshow at the end of the month and then the SuperBowl is the weekend after that. My next trip doesn't seem likely until the weekend after the SB.
Kilrtoy: Is that the weekend of the Fireworks convention. I definitely want to be there for that, the show in Feb is much better than 4th of July. I'm gonna have to look into that, no too warm but a great night in Thompson's watching the show!
