Looks like a cross between west coast and east coast design. West coast center pod/training wheel and east coast flat deck. Even the capsule looks similar to a Skater. Hope there's no copyright infringements :rollside:

Not 50 MPH, 50 knots or 57.5 MPH. Can you imagine how much hp that thing must generate...

Thanks for posting that link. I followed some other links on that site and before i know it i'm looking at posts from friends in the navy from a ship i was on 20 years ago. They were looking for me. The one guy was my drinking buddy while i was on that ship. Thanks again.

I thought it was a jet drive but I looked at the specs and it's not. I must be thinking of a documentary of some ferry that I was watching.

You know what bro, that is good news. You're very welcome. I can relate as I spent some years in the Navy and wonder how some of my buds are doin that I met while serving. Keep me posted. :)

Let me guess, you were in the Marines?
I was looking for the Special Boat Unit vessels when I located the HSV.
But, take a look at this thing, not very big pics. Just keep in mind its 82' long.
