I remember the days leading up to the thread and then around sometime in the early noon time threads and responses changed rapidly and some editing occurred after that....Sad Day for HTM.....really Sad Day for Cat owners around the US.

I remember really well. We got the news on our way to Havasu that afternoon. We were heading to the lake to test Blings Skater which was capable of 140+mph. We all had weird thoughts running through our heads about the HTM accident and as we headed out onto the water we all agreed to be mellow that day and keep the speeds down. We all knew the HTM guys, so having them in the back of our minds all day kept us very aware of the dangers that exist at those speeds. :frown:

I remember reading the post on here back then. It is hard to believe it's been 3 years. I hope all the families are doing well with losses such as those. Definetly sad.

Steve was a neighbor at the Islander, I didn"t know him very well but he was always nice when we came accross one another. The sticker has held up pretty well and still is on the Burb. A sad day indeed.... :(
