Thought I'd put these up down here since this is where they belong. I love my new truck sooooo far. Looking at a Fabtech 6" lift (or possibly the donahoe lift 4.5") with M/t 17" classic lock 2 and m/t 35" FC2 tires.
I ordered the billet inserts for the grille and will order the gas cap soon. Spray in bed liner asap. Any other ideas?
Any opinons on my choices so far (except for you Jordy... :hammerhea LOL!!! j/k dude!)
:) :) :D
The color matches my current boat (pre boat show) perfect.

Hey So Cal,
Today on Spike TV they had a show called "Xtreme 4x4". On the show they did a new SD with a 6" Fabtech Lift with Dual Resevior shocks up front and resevoir shocks in the back.
Then they put the truck through its paces. That thing was a back ASS truck!
They jumped the truck off a mound of dirt going about 30 miles/hr. The truck didnt even miss a beat.
If you have Spike TV you should try to see when they will replay that episode again. It was a really good show.

So_Cal,
Yeah you havet to watch that show the next time it comes on. It was on again this morning. Make sure you Tivo it or something because if FabTech is the kit your thinking about. This will make your mind up for sure.
Let me know what you think after you watch it.

Thanks 100. I ordered the 6" Fabtech 4 link kit. It is still in testing (shock's) and will be shipped in mid to late feb. (I hope).
I talked to the tech at Fabtech and he was really revved up about this new kit for the 2005 SD.
This new kit is a full four link and not just the radius arms like the one on the show so it should be even better (more articulation). They will also be coming out with a conversion kit for there 4" diameter coil over shocks (also still in development).
Thanks for the info on the show.

I'll be in Mammoth
Besides the April-October golf course deal, I think we're shooting for 1 or 2 other trips, though. When are you and SoCal gonna spring for an RV and "stay a spell"...
LOL
Again, nice trucks (both) - I'll just keep my little ole '01 gasser for now.

Funny you should ask, Sara and I have been discussing buying a used trailer to store up at BML and stay in it when we go instead of the Kitchen Cabins.
Will let you know our new address when we get it!!
Hey how about that extra spot you got!! maybe we can use it :D
