First rule of convertibles. . . it's okay to have the heater or air conditioner on with the top off. My mom taught me that. I have T-tops on my car and love them, but hardly ever take them off. I'm just lazy. The convertible is nice because you just push the button.

I'm still trying to get my wife out in the convert, she keeps saying I have to get it drivable first :cry: . I told her it was, I drove it up the road and back this weekend (about 1/2 mile round trip at 10 mph), although it looked strange with the battery charger still on the fender, and the hood bungied down to keep the gas can from falling off the core support :messedup: .
I working on my '64 Galaxie XL500 ragtop (really ragged top), finally got it out of my dad's barn after almost 20 years. :( It needs a lot of work, but am hoping to have it safe to take the wife and kiddo out in this summer, that way I can leave the top down so it doesn't look so bad.
