Just got home today. Crossed over the bridge and the water was super low... Lake Mohave looked good but even by the casino's in Laughlin the water was low...

It was up yesterday AM for the first time in over a week. Went back down through the day. Left early this AM, before sun was up and got home late so couldn't see the water level. They have been releasing only 1/2 unit but increased that to 1 and 2 yesterday and today. Hopefully, things will get better here.
Side note: Work has started on Jack Smith marina improvements.

Its low, went through the gorge from havasu to Topoc. From Topoc about a mile south the water was 4 ft deep max. Couldnt get into the marina at Topoc with my boat, my buddy went in with his 21' jet, and was sucking up mud big time. Another guy went past us in a 26' Sleek, went about 500 yards past Topoc and was dragging his outdrive in the mud at about 60 mph.
I heard it will stay this way for a few more weeks.

When the level is normal whats the maximum length you can launch at Jack Smith Marina? Is this area cool for a 28' boat?

Try Needles Marina. Maybe. Jack Smith doesn't come up till later in the day. I wouldn't attempt it at Jack Smith at any time with a 28. Maybe they are making some great improvements? Haven't used it in years.

what kind of improvements are they making to Jack Smith? I was in their once and people were backing their trailers in sideways off the ramp to get deep enough to float their boats off. And the entrance/exit to the river is only wide enough for one boat!

Do not boat on the river from Laughlin to Lake Havasu this week. We were up this weekend and it is normal mid winter low. Launch and boat on lakes only. BTW we just enclosed our carport in Topock using HP Construction and they did a stand up job. Completed the work ontime on budget and a job well done. :D 100+place what the hell happened new years? :D :D :D

28" may be pushing it there. That launch is super shallow.

This week it has been real low. The docks by the bridge have been high and dry. Today the docks were floating but the water still is low.

Looks like they have opened the gates a little more the past few days, but it's still well below a "normal' flow.....winter const projects....

I heard they are filling Lake Powell and Lake Mead that is why the water is low.
