I'm looking at getting a Satellite Radio, does anyone know which is better?
XM or Sirius.
Thanks

Sirius....
Are you serious, or are you kidding? :)

...this has been up many times before. They are pretty much the same, unless, you like Howard Stern, NBA, NFL, NHL, college sports, and more cutting edge stations soon to come like Eminem's own...then go with Sirius

Sirius....
Why Sirius? Just trying to get all the pros and cons...
Thanks

This is why.
When I got mine, XM still was piping radio stations, and I didn't want the commercials. So I got Sirius.
I like Sirius's programing better anyway.

I have Sirius in my truck and love it. I've never had any problems with reception either. Most the time it even works in the tunnel in downtown Phoenix on the 10.

I like XM. I have it in my car and boat. Great reception, plus, they have Major League Baseball........ GO Los Angeles Angels of California and Anahiem and Riverside and San Diego and Corona and Mentone and whatever.......

When we got our Yukon XL, it came with XM installed. Works great, but what I really like is that it is now added to the boat, and an additional car, and it's only $6.95 a month for each of the additional units. You might want to check into the price plans of each if you plan on having more then one unit.

XM is more cost friendly. Especially if you have multiple radios.

I believe XM satalites have a lower inclincation (sp?) than Sirius. In the mountains you lose the signal.
I had friends back in Colorado that had XM and always had problems with reception. I've never had a problem with Sirius.

Bottom Line
Look at the cost, look at the programming, and look at the hardware. Which ever you like the best, go with them. Good luck....:)
