I've got a Hypertech Programmer for '04 Chevys. It works on 4.3's, 4.8's, 5.3's, 6.0's and 8.1's. I've got the cable, box, and instructions. It'll calibrate your speedo if you change your tire size, firm up your shifts, add performance tuning for 87 or 91 octane gas, change your shift points, change your top speed governer. And the best thing, it's smog legal!
Operators are standing by...
All this can be yours for a piddly $250.00!
PM me for further info.

The box says '04. In '03 GM went to the "drive by wire" throttle body. No cables, just controlled electroniclly. I wish it did work for you guys. Damn you General Motors!

Yeah I went to the hypertech website to see about it. I found one on ebay for 225. I actually just need one to calibrate my speedo. Did you get the results you where looking for?
Thanks

I wanted more performance. The 6.0's are pretty doggy since they went to the drive by wire setup. The parameters the Hypertech uses are pretty conservative. It did recalibrate my speedo for my 20" wheels and tires and did raise the speed governer from 97 mph to 128 mph. I went with the Westers Hot tune, from what I've read at GM-Trucks.com it seems to be the hot tip for getting the most out of a stock engine.

I just bought a 2004 GMC with a 5.3 motor . I just put a Gibson exhaust and Airaid intake and was looking at getting one of those Hypertech programers, let me know if you still have it.
