Hi all,
I have a Quicksilver 3000 series throttle/shifter. I'm trying to remove it, but I can't figure out how to get the actual handle off. Any thoughts???????

I knew someone would have the answer.
The pushbutton comes out first. Use two small flat blade screwdrivers, one on the left and one on the right. Gently pry and it'll pop out.
Next use a 5/8" deep socket to remove the nut that holds the handle on. Once that has been removed, pull the handle out slowly. Then unplug the two wire quick connector harness for the trim switch.
Thereya go.

Make sure too get a new center cap as they break when you pop them off.....Just about any boat store has them. (I learned the hard way)
