Thank you,

lol, you might need to save quarters though. Depending on options you are looking at probably $110k. Focking boating industry. lol :rollside:
I have thought about doing what Bunny did buying a good hull and having it totally redone. My mind is always thinking of something though. :p :rollside:

Sweet! Thanks man. If I were to get that boat my price for all the shiz would be in the 130-150 range. So throw in the bottles in newspapers too. :p

Yaa..much better ride. The wind doesn't ever bother me (I'm always driving!) These boats do act as a wind tunnel at times but the layout advantages far outweigh a little wind.
And, there is really only 1 seat that gets bad. It is the one directly down the middle, the rest of the seats are pretty well protected.

Thank you,
I have one with a 496HO still stock at this point but probably going to do the Raylar kit soon (just waiting to see more results). Mine runs decent but in the summer time when loaded and full tanks it only runs about 58-60 top end. In the winter not loaded and full tanks it sees about 66 or so. Before we installed the stereo and loaded all the anchors and crap we saw 71 in the winter.
I would recommend to go the absolute biggest motor you can afford. I would even look into something other than Merc like Peto or Teague. I think for very similiar price to a 525 you could get a Teague 600 or Peto that also come with a 1 year warranty. If I were to build the same boat again it would definitely have a Teague or Peto but I guess you live and learn right?!?!
OH YA....you should be able to get a way better price than $110k with a 525.

He had Conquest do a "one up" mod; the pass. - side console was modified and enlarged to accomodate the cuddy. Pretty sweeet. I saw pics on here when they did it. Maybe still in here, somewhere.

Yep, Car Toyz did the stereo.
Here's a pic of the cuddy cabin area during buildup. Lost an ice chest doing this, but it's perfect for the kids. Fits 2 kids easily or one adult. Put a dvd player and some nice fans to keep it cool. Also has a deck hatch on the top side.

I'm talking about my 34' Magic :hammer2: Deep V, not the Magic deckboat.

i dont think you can not even touch a 28 magic or conquest with a 525 or teauge 620 for close to a 100k.
I know several people who paid around $92k with a 525 (this was last season tho). I would imagine for about $100k you could get a Teague 620 which would be ideal in my opinion. I would think a Magic Deck would see high 80's with the TCM620 which would be killer. WOULDA SHOULDA COULDA! Hopefully the Raylar kits work out for others as well as it did for Shadow. Someone with a Magic 496ho needs to try one of these setups....who's game?
I know you can get deals on these things you just have to work at it.

Better than a deep v? Wow! Test drove a Conquest Deckboat with Keith but was just not comfortable. I'm sure it was me, not the boat though.

I had been a die hard deep v guy my whole life. The license plate frame on my truck said "Deep Vees don't pussyfoot around." Took a ride on the deckboat and couldn't believe the ride. For overall lake boating, it's hard to beat a tunnel hull deckboat, however if a nasty storm comes up like the one that came thru Havasu last year, I'd take the deep v in a heartbeat.
Does take a little getting used to not having the high free board.

Thanks, for putting up the pic. I believe you can get a deck under 100k, but for me I would want every single option aval, including the Stereo, Stereo, Stereo, Stereo, some RD billet, Stereo, Stereo, oh yeah did I mention the Stereo? :rollside:
