Currently have an EZGO Sport Turf model that comes with the drop down 4"...ok, but the articulation is not that great....going to upgrade to the A-Arm front and rear setup in the next year....adds a little wider width and better articulation.

I know Nubbs and Tobtek are golf cart gurus...
I want opinions of as many board members, not just the above mentioned professionals.
Thanks.

I Am Sure The Only Major Reason For Drop Down Verse Long Travel Is Money. It's No Comparison...it's Know That They A-arm Is Much Nicer, But Is It Worth The Extra Money?

Depends on how you are going to use the cart. A-arms are great if you plan on driving it off-road allot and I don't mean just around camp. A typical beam or spindle lift works great if you plan on using it mainly around your neighborhood, camp site or basic trail driving.
I personally drive ours mainly off-road, so I'm planning on switching out the beam lift for the a-arm kit. Besides looking really cool, the RIGHT a-arm kit changes the ride completely. Our cart is faster than our friends, but I can not keep up with him when the terrain becomes rough.

Have you seen this new a-arm setup for club cars? It was developed by the same company that makes the E-Z-GO setup I'm getting. If it handles anything like the E-Z-GO kit, it's going to be awesome.

The A-arm kits are pretty bitchin, but they also cost roughly 4 times as much as the axle lift kit.

Just makin' plans....you know me, always thinking! :hammerhea
Don't know if I'm going to really get into serious play-type off-roading. I would like to but it's only a 36v ezgo and there are a lot of dirt, whooped out hills by us at the river. I know the a-arm kit is the shiat but I don't think I will totally use it. Still thinking.

Do they make those A-ARM kits for the Yamaha Carts. The kit where it comes with the skid plate and a-arms?
What is the deal with this 24 hp HONDA motor? Price, Hard to install, Top speed?

What size tires would you guys recomend using on a Yamaha gas gart with the 7" dual A-Arm lift. Should I go with the 23" tires on 12" wheels or go 22" tires on 10" wheels. I do plan on doing some minor off roading (trail riding mostly) and I will have a back seat so I might be cruising with 4 people. Just don't want to have a tire rubbing problem.

I put airshocks in the rear so I could adjust if there were people sitting in the back. Seems to work well to eliminate the rubbing w/o worring too much about tire size.

So you would recomend going with the 23's than I take it? I like the bigger rims and would like the bigger tire. It will give a little more top end for driving on the road. Plus I don't want it to look funny with too small of a tire.
