SHe was our CEO. She merged our company and we had layoffs for the first time in the history of the company. Some have mixed feelings about the progress and direction she took our company, but employees are for the most part 100% for this decision and hoping we will get back on track.

THe last 3 years have been very stressful for employees. Its amazing the attitude today in our building. Its a very loud, party atmosphere. People are ecstatic and the news media is all over the place outside......................... :D

NEW YORK, Feb 9 (Reuters) - U.S. stock futures rose on Wednesday, pointing to a higher market open, after shares of Hewlett-Packard Co. <HPQ.N> shot higher on news that its chairman and chief executive was ousted.
Computer and printer maker HP said Carly Fiorna was stepping down after disagreements with the company's board over strategy. Hewlett-Packard said a search for a new CEO was underway.
HP's shares rose more than 10.2 percent to $22.20 in pre-market trade on the Inet electronic brokerage system.
The company's stock surge boosted the futures market, which had been flat all morning after results from bellwether Cisco Systems Inc. <CSCO.O> on Tuesday failed to impress investors.
S&P 500 futures <SPH5> were up 1.6 points, above fair value accounting for interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract, indicating the S&P would open higher.
Dow Jones industrial index futures <DJH5> were up 20 points, while Nasdaq 100 <NDH5> futures were 6.5 points higher.
"Obviously the market feels that this is a good thing," said Neil Massa, senior trader at John Hancock Funds. Massa said issues surrounding Fiorina and the company "was a big overhang on the stock."
Fiorina, who joined HP in 1999, became the lightning rod of criticism among investors and the Silicon Valley establishment for pushing through HP's merger with Compaq Computer in 2002.
American International Group Inc. <AIG.N>, the world's largest insurer by market value, saw its shares higher overseas after the company reported better-than-expected earnings.
Cisco, the largest maker of communications gear that directs traffic over the Internet, said on Tuesday quarterly earnings rose, but its stock slipped amid concerns about weak revenue and rising inventory.
Shares of Cisco rose 0.4 percent to $18.32 on Inet.
Oil prices were lower on Wednesday on expectations that data due at 10:30 a.m. (1530 GMT) would show rising inventories of crude and gasoline ahead of a seasonal drop in demand in the second quarter.
U.S. light crude <CLc1> was down 11 cents at $45.29 a barrel. U.S. crude has declined since Jan. 25 when prices had pushed close to $50 on worries that a cold snap in the United States would increase demand for heating fuel. Rising oil prices raises concerns that higher energy costs will pinch corporate profits and curb consumer spending.
Health plan Cigna Corp. <CI.N> posted sharply higher quarterly net profit, helped by a gain from the sale of its retirement benefits business.
Shares of UTStarcom Inc. <UTSI.O>, the communications equipment gear maker, rose 2.5 percent to $15.30 on Inet a day after the company reported lower pretax results that were in line with its recently downgraded outlook for sales in its mainstay Chinese market.
On Tuesday, the Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> closed up 8.87 points, or 0.08 percent, at 10,724.63. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> was up 0.58 of a point, or 0.05 percent, at 1,202.30. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> rose 4.65 points, or 0.22 percent, to 2,086.68.
