Still looking to lift my SD... Has anyone lifted their '05 4X4? I just want a mild 4" lift with 35" tires on 17" rims and do not want the tires to stick way outside of the finders.Seems easy enough....... I am told that the new front ends take a rim with an offset that is harder to find in chrome. Has anyone had any luck? I have been told, that the Helo maxx 8 works from a few guys, but then just as many say it sticks out too far. The best price so far is $3900.00 for lift tires and wheels (Maxx 8 ). I know that someone on these boards has the answer.

A guy that works for me just lifted his 05 F250 Super duty.
He went with a 3" lift by rough country. Said it cost him $400, came with shocks, new coil springs for the front end, boots for the shocks & blocks for the back. It looks good.
He put 325/70R17 tires on it with new weld 10" wide rims, the tires & rims stick out a little too far, so he ordered up a set of 9" rims that sould be in any day now.

Definately go with the Donohoe lift. Talk to Fastimmy on the boards or call Jason at Rancho Motorsports in Ontario 909-390-9722, he's an Authorized Donohoe dealer/installer. Tell him you're for the ***boat boards and he'll take care of you.
