I went down to the cannibal bar (I think that's what it was called) in Mission Beach about a week before my wife's 40th and had them reserve about 10 tables for us. It was a surprise and I had all of our friends meet us there that night (about 50 people or so). Anyway, they had some disco cover band playing that night....when the bar was good and jam packed the singer called her up on stage and the whole place sang happy birthday to her. It was a great time.

I surprised my ex...I rented a big a-- limo and took her and 12 of her friends wine tasting in Temecula. Started it w/a catered lunch at Wilson Creek Winery (love their almond champaigne) and went from there. I'm not a big wine guy, but this was a great time, w/a touch of class, and a bit of drinking...ok, a lot of drinking...Oh yeah, I also throw in a diamond solitaire necklace for good measure. She thanked me apropriately... :D

Okay, here is the new thread:
I've never met Mandelon in person, so I don't feel like I could recommend this for his wife's 40th. However, we did have the same type of boat at one time so, if you want to use it you can!
Anyone else can use it as well on that special occasion or just to say "I Love You". What can I say, I'm a giver. Enjoy.
This is the funniest $hit (literally) I've seen in a long time.

You think? lol Do you own a chopper David? If so we need to go for a ride some day
I wish ! ! ! it was a outfit in vegas, very nice, they send a limo to your hotel to pick you up and drive you to the office/helo pad and from there it's off to the Grand Canyon..over Lake Mead and Pierce Ferry and lands 5-7 miles up on the lowest mesa above the water..AWESOME ! !

take her to a swing party. Find a hot young female that is willing and able, and take her for the ride of her life. While this sounds a little wild and off the hook, trust me, it is a good time at those swing parties.

How about a romantic long weekend trip somewhere that has spa facilites. I'm thinking like Taos, NM. You could fly into Sante Fe and rent a car. It's about 1 1/2 hour drive from there. We went there in November (for less than 1 day) and I'm hoping we can go back on an "adult" trip. There is a lot of shopping, great dining, hiking, skiing, and spa resorts.
Or a local spa would be good too . . .or Palm Springs?
I would say no to a surprise party if I was turning 40, but that's just me. Do something that tells her you still think she's beautiful and sexy.

Booze and hookers......wait, this is her 40th. We just celebrated my wife's 40th B-day last October. Here's how it went...
1. New car.
2. Five hours at Burke Williams Day Spa in Mission Viejo.
3. One big rock set in gold for her other hand.
4. Limo for seven couples and a night on the town w/o the kids.
5. Her stupid husband who she's never seen get sick from the drinks...well gets sick. :hammerhea :D
She says she enjoyed #'s 2 & 4 more than the fancier stuff. :)

When is Debbie's B-Day? You got to have a big party. I'll help. DJ, Lights, strippers, topless bartenders, gag gifts. Let's start planning. Nate can give her a lap dance. Nick

How about a 3 day Cruise to Mexico...depart from San Diego or Long Beach. You can bring the kids and have them go with the activity director while you and your Bride enjoy each others company. :shift:

Try doing something you don't usually do or won't do again for a long time. This is her only 40th she won't see that again. Make it centered around the little things. Breakfest in bed, messages, candles, moments alone and spoiling her all day. Mrs. CenCal says take her somewhere she's always wanted to go. :chi:

Shoot down to Las Rocas below Rosarito. Spa treatments, beach etc.
For my wifes 40 she said she is her happiest when I am happy so she got a SANDRAIL!
