I've stayed at the Nautical Inn before and I like the private ramp and being able to beach the boat outside the room. Are there any other places to stay where you dont have to pull the boat out each nite?

You can stay at the London Bridge Resort in the channel and get a dock slip (extra $). The Agave Inn directly across the channel on the island side is actually the 'W Hotel' of Havasu. I have stayed several times and it is nice. Only hotel in Havasu with 'free' internet. I believe you can still rent a dock slip at the LBR even if you opt to stay at the Agave (better confirm first).

Thanks. I could not remember the name Agave when I was looking on the internet. I look at London Bridge resort and it made no mention of boat slips for rent. Do they let you reserve them or is it first come first serve? Either one would be closer to the action in the channel and Kokomo's than Nautical. I am taking my son and two cousins that have never experienced Havasu before so I imagine they will be drooling all weekend. I am going to contact both places and see how their rates compare.

Well now that you say that I would either go London since Kokohoes is there and the RR all real close then the Aguave (sp) or the Nautical. What weekend you going?

We are going the weekend before Memorial Day the 20 & 21st. Sounds like the LBR would have the most potential for a good time, hypothetically speaking that is. Just want the most bang for the buck!!

Went last Memorial Day weekend. Place was a friggin zoo. Now mind you the animals (at least the females of the species) were phenominal!! It's just too crowded for my taste. I am hoping the weekend before will measure up. Mem. Day has family obligations this year.

I just checked rates at LBR. $255 per for 2bd 2ba sleeps 6 max. Not bad! I'm thinkin that might be the best bet for at least a party atmosphere. Now I need to check on boat slip availability and price. Can I do better on price and especially location????

Agave is not that expensive.
If you stay at the LBR you won't get any sleep until 5am if you have a room above Kokomos. Something to think about.

Who said anything about sleep? If I can find someone interesting to do, I wont care about sleep. Oops, did I say someone??? I really meant to say "something".

Boat slips at LBR are first come first serve for anybody during the day. At night they are reserved for guests and you have to pay for them. You should be able to reserve it when you reserve the room.
