Meeting and talking to Mike Fiore would allow me to cross off one of the things that I'd like to do in life. Buying one of his boats would be another one.

I think that Mike would do lay-a-way, anyway he along with all of the other top dogs will be there for the party. There will be catered food (no cost) and a no host bar. :rollside:

As far as I know most people in SCOPE work for a living, now maybe there living is higher than most but fact is I have been a member for 6 years and I don't know of anyone in the club that behaves that way. All we want to do is have fun with our kids out on the water. If you enjoy serious high performance boating either in the pacific or on the lake come to the SCOPE kick off party. You will see iron there that you would normally see at the boat show. Hey food is free and there is a no host bar :hammerhea

Jeff,
I agree most of the guy's are pretty cool but I have personally seen a few people act like a$$holes to people that did not deserve it. It's all about karma imo. You treat someone like shit because maybe they are not living at the same level as you and someday it will probably come back around to you. Just my.02

Wasabe is the girlfriend of the creator of Offshore Only. Cris I agree every club can have its pain in the ass members, but for the most part the people are pretty good. You just hang out with people you know and little by little you meet new people that you want to be around. I'm just a boat junkie so as long as I am around other boaters I am happy. Is the guy back east happy with your boat? I was there in three days and he could not beleive that it could get there so fast. I left there went to the miami boat show and then came home with a 36 nor tech. Thanks again for getting me the job

I agree with that. The person that was the biggest a$$hole might not even be a Scope member, but he does hang with that crowd. They have always been cool with me, but one of the incidents I was present for was bull$hit IMO. Jeffrey, Nort, Gary ect... are all very cool people.
The guy that bought my boat is very happy. I am trying to figure out a way to ship him the bimini I had made for it. I did not think he would want it but he does. Thanks for getting him the boat safely.

Your welcome. Please pass the word on the trucking. I am going out next week and buying a new truck just for the boat hauling. Also I am raising my insurance cargo from 300,000 to 500,000. See you at the party

Most of the dudes from scope are very cool people. I used to think some of the guys were very cliquish but once I got to know them better I found they were very cool. Don't be shy just come out and party. Not to mention the fact that it's Scott
Conrads grand opening too and I don't think I've ever met someone that didn't think Scott was a super nice guy!

That would be Dean and his wife Marie, great people in Indiana that used to live here in SoCal, Pasadena I believe. They design and paint/airbrush some or should I say most of the wild stuff seen regularly on NorTech, Cigarette, Hustler and Skater boats.
