How much cash do you spend on aftermarket parts for your new or used boat each year? Don't forget to count maintenance items like batteries, oil etc.

This year it's in the 2500+ range due to engine issues...
Next year it's going to be in the 2500+ range due to cosmetic issues...
I see a pattern...

I've spent money on stuff that "I couldn't boat without" most of which is still sitting in the shed drive shower, 4 bladed stainless prop, new navigation lights, new fenders & docklines, stereo system, netural safety switch, and the list goes on & on. Lets not foreget all the maintaince & up keep stuff too.
I would rather use the boat than spend my free time working on it.
Do you know who Nimrod was?
Now I have to do a Nimrod search. :umm:

If I average over the 5 years I've had it under $100 per year. Of course, it was parked for 2 years and not used. In the last year I have spent about $200. Swapped intakes (used Performer RPM), bought another prop ($16 thanks PHX ATC), and an oil change.

$500-$1000 here. Buy a boat new so you can hav a warranty on it otherwise numbers can be much higher.
Once your warranty expires, sell it and buy another new boat. It's much cheaper that way.
