That's still not a bad speed for what it is. I have seen 45 in ours not loaded down, but with 6-8 people and three big coolers and fuel 38 is about it. I actually have fun racing the wake board boats... :) :cool:

Exactly, a pontoon should be for putting around, no need to go 60mph in it. It looks like we are going to take up to Topock for breakfast on sunday if it's not to windy. Should make for a pleasant ride.

JC's are great. Weve had 2 in the past, both 22' with the 350. Have to say most fun on the water than any other boat we've owned and that's what its all about. I think we towed it to almost every lake in the state including powell for 8 days.

We picked ours up on a Memorial day weekend, launched at Windsor and were having such a good time we forgot about our dog's needs. Yep, 2 hours on our new JC and the 100lb retriever is draining it on the bow carpet. :cry:
