I am heading to IE area next week to attend services for a fallen friend. Mrs. BoatCop said she was tired of staying in Super 8s, so we sprung for the Pechanga Resort.
Anybody got any tips or dos and don'ts for the place. It looked pretty nice on the website, but is there any reason I should cancel?

Good place. Nice rooms, good food at what we thought were reasonable prices.
Rated as the number one Indian Casino/resort on the Travel Channel.
Sorry to hear of the loss of your friend.
If you're into gaming:
Slot/video payouts are unregulated. It's not like Nevada. They set them any way they choose. Astronomical advantage for the house.

I go there every other weekend. But I have never got a room there. ;)
also very sorry for your loss of a friend.

there are a few things to watch for if you are going to gamble any. :supp:

I've stayed there plenty BC.
Nice rooms, the amenities are better than any std. hotel around (24hr. restaurants, and a good buffet).
Never gambled though, so I couldn't tell you anything about that.
Service is about avg, but that's ok, the rates are cheap.

Soory to hear about your friend!
A good tip would be ..don't run around yelling "Custers comming you bastards!"
That's all I can suggest! oh and don't wipe your ass with the bed sheets!

Go to the Oak Room for dinner. I think thats what it was called. Its been almost a year now but they used to fly in Escargot for me when we used to come down. I could probably round up the GM's (Dave) cell number if you want. The bar up on the top floor is pretty cool too tho I think you have to be a Diamond Player to get up there.

Great place you will enjoy it. Check out the Eagle's Nest up on the top floor for a drink and listen to some tunes. My condolences to you and your friend's family.

LOL. I think I'd be in bigger trouble from Mrs. BoatCop if I did that.
(She's a card carrying Cherokee) :jawdrop:
Hmmmm. Maybe I can get a discount if I talk her into giving them the secret handshake. :D

You have to pay for your drinks while gambling. The slots pay pretty good. ;)

Went there last night... the bar was good :D Rooms are nice, never stayed but had friends who did. The breakfast in the cafe sucks... that's about all I can offer for advice. :D Have fun Alan!

Sorry about your friend...
They buy a TON of TV commercials... :D They are slammed on the weekends...in the casino and club, and they don't give you priv. to the club if you're a reg. guest. So, during the week is better as far as the crowds...
Good luck... :clover: Also, Pala is really nice casino too, and it's just down the street.
