Just thought I'd drop my 2 cents on the table re: Grey Goose. I'm seeing many folks here making refernce to it and granted, it is among the best vodkas out there, but...it is made in France! France, the country who has been proven to supply insurgent Iraqis with military info re: our military strategies, resulting in ambushes and...sells them weapons. Why on earth would anyone want to contribute to this longtime thorn in our side? Chopin and Belvedere (sp?) are equally awesome vodkas NOT made in France.
On a lighter note...anyone coming out here this weekend should see sunny and 80's. Looks pretty good!

That's why I no longer drink it. Absolute or Finlandia works pretty well.

But it's an American owned company. ;)
And to go from Goose to Absolute???? Yikes.... :jawdrop:

a lot of good points here, if it is american owned, just made in France, aren't we making profits off the chicken-ass French? Its good vodka, no doubt my favorite. Its the same thing as French Disney though, they abuse our national treasure by refuting the age-old traditions, yet they are provided jobs.
mmmmmmmmm

Very good, sometimes hard to find.
It's always available at the local Basha's! Lousy meat selection, but they have the best vodka...go figure?

I bought a bottle of that a couple months ago for 15-20 bucks and a little liquor store that Cola told me about. It was pretty good stuff.
But if you want to talk about vodka, here's the thread. :D

You guys argue about Vodka like a bunch of girls. :argue: I bet you that if I put five different glasses of Vodka in front of you, you couldnt figure out which one is which. Have a beer.
P.S.

Grey Goose is the best vodka out there. And the owner of Grey Goose (until just recently it was sold to Bacardi) Is Sidney Frank, an american, who donates a LOT of money to many charities here. It is an American owned company, just made in Grey Goose. My boyfriend works for Sidney Frank importing, and he is the personal Assistant to Mr. Frank, so buy buying Grey Goose you are supporting my boyfriend and supporting my life. So it isn't that bad. Oh and the owner of Grey Goose imports Jagermeister too, and Corazon Tequilla, wanna black ball that too?
As long as the word "France" is on the bottle, French are profiting from the product. Frankly, if Bacardi, a communist Cuban-based company, gave a damn about our country's military safety, which they don't, they would pull the bottling & production of GG out of France, who is directly or indirectly responsible for our troops deaths in Iraq. Boycot is still on, plus...Chopin tastes noticeably better, due to the fact it is distilled from potatos, not grain. But taste is subjective and to each their own.
Re: Jager & Tequila...neither of them come from France, so no blackball there...just the vodka.
