Been feeling ill since about tuesday, sore throat like a mofo, sweaty, achy, now just 100% raw throat!!! Said i have Bronchitis, stay home, and gave me antibiotics!!!! :mad: :mad: :( :cry:

3 years ago I got a pnemonia (sp?) shot. Haven't had bronchitis since. The lady giving out the shots said that it would help and it did. :cool:
Damn, you too. I've been medicated for 3 days trying to kick a cold.
Last year it wiped me out. I trying to beat it to the punch this time.

Take the whole dose, Leon, don't stop till they're all gone, even if you feel better...good luck.

Those sore throats are a killer. You can't take enough asprin/ ibuprofin to make the pain go away. It will reduce the swelling and relieve the pain, but it feels like your throat is made of 40 grit sandpaper.

Man that sucks!! I have felt the same way and I just got around to going to the doctors today. The last two days were painful, could not eat a lot or even drink fluids. It was painful. Doctor prescribed me the same medication. He never said anything about staying home though:D:D

French, knock on wood, this is the first time in 4 years that I haven't had one of those killer sore throats. They would just kill me, keep me up all night, can't drink, can't eat. Flat out sucks!

Try some chorlaseptic (spray) for that sore throat. Numbs it enough to eat, drink,take pills. I think this same stuff has been going around for awhile, some it turns bronchial,some not..Good luck Leon
