First thing tomorrow morning I'm going in for surgery on my left shoulder to repair a badly torn labrum and the degenerated AC joint. I'll be off work for about 4 weeks then back to work with some restrictions for another 6 to 8 weeks. I guess I won't be doing any skiing or wakeboarding this season but that's OK, it'll give me more time to work on my 12 ounce curls :D

Good luck man. Keep us posted. In my professional medical opinion, the one thing you'd better watch with the 12 oz curls is that you don't over develop one arm by favoring it over the one that was cut on. You need to balance them out. ;) :D

Good Luck, Just had surgery about 3 weeks ago and I am putting the finishing touches on my bathroom remodel (tiled the floors, new sink, toilet etc...)
Doc looked at my shoulder yesterday and said everything looked great, downside is they said that since all my joints are deteriorating my next step will be hip replacement. :2purples: Not ready for that I am only 38.

Good luck! I've had three knee surgeries and an ACL replacement (patellar method) I was walking the day of the surgery and driving my truck two days later. Each person heals differently. If you ned any help or pointers let me know. After 6 months I was cleared to play full contact bball again but I was a little hesitant. It's been almost 1 year know and I've had no issues.

You're having shoulder surgery? j/k. No problem, I'll walk accross the street if I have to and bring you a beer. I mean, what are friends for?
