It is 7 feet tall and comes with a brand new mounting bracket that mounts to the floor

i have full leght stringers and no sub floor i dont know if it would work ?? :confused:

How does this boom mount in the boat? Does it use a strap from the bow to the boom or is it just the two skinny rods that hold it in place?

Both. Plus, that shiny "metal disc" thingy get screwed to the floor. Then the pole base slides over that and gets pinned in.

Only if you don't want the boom to bend and break and mame the people riding in your boat. ;)
