I know this isn't the tech forum, but figure more people are here.
I'm looking into getting their 5 blade (26p)to replace my Merc Bravo 4 blade (26p).... any opinions?? Anyone have one??
Thanks....

I would call Throttle Up, tell them your application, and get their reccomendation. They are a great prop shop, and specialize in Hydromotive. Throttle Up (http://www.throttle-up.com/)

I think you'll have to go smaller on the hydromtive prop. They slip less and grab more water so basiclly they are more efficent. Talk to a pro to determine what you need. Try Joel at Bronson.

Have one being overhighted from Throttle Up and her recommended the 26pitch based on the info I told him, Called Joel/Byron and they can't get one till next week. Just want to try one out for the weekend. Throttle Up told me to try it and they'll dial it in from there. I'll probably take my 4-blade to Bronson and let them work magic on that one.
I was just wondering if anyone has a prop like that...Hydromotive that is.
I know Bronson rocks, and have used them in the past and will continue in the future.... I'm just hot to trot to try and get the boat to 90

I have been wanting to try the P5X Hydromotives on my boat for awhile now, but just dont have the $$ for two - but with higher gas prices, I can argue with the wife for a more efficient boat
Just wish there was someone that had two 26p P5X's to loan.....

P5X'S are what they are sending, no lab finish though. They said try it out stock, then we'll dial it in after riding it. Not cheap... $1k stock and $1400 lab finish.... but efficiency is key... right..?? Shhh, that's what I'll tell the wife too...
