So, after months of trying to get a boat loan and running into one or another reasons why we can't do it, Melissa at Essex referrs me to this guy named Chris Kennedy. Talked to Chris, and two days later he hooks us up on the loan. I just get a phone call from him and he asks me if I am Mrs. Bordsmnj. I started laughing and asked who he was and it turns out he is the one and only Boat Loan Guy!!! The ***boat forums are an amazing thing!!! :shift:

'99 22. GT motor. 509 ci in 800 hp. 57 hrs on hull 25 on motor.50k not scratch...never been tied to a dock. the carpet is covered and hasn't been walked on,so i hear.been trying to buy this boat for three months.

our interior is a little different though(jumpseats).the little piece of carpet you see sticking up is the carpet cover. the carpet undernieth has really never been walked on.

I like your interior patterns and darker colors better. What's this about magazine test boat? I bought the thing as a repo for 32K in San Berdu. Had some probs to fix, nothing major. I'm in mine around 54K with the Max worx drive and Whipple,carb., fuel system, steering and stereo. JP has got to be well over 100K.
You might want to pull the LH riser and check your oil cooler, see my thread in gear heads.
I'm looking to hit the water this weekend with a gps and see where I'm at now. I'll post a pic. Sunday night :smile:

OOps it's the starboard riser(RH when looking from rear) I'm talking about the (4) 9/16" nuts that hold the exhaust riser to the manifold. Take those off and loosen 2 upper clamps on exhaust. Remove the riser. Then you will see the end of the oil cooler mounted across the back of motor. Take the one bolt out of the end and wiggle the cap off. Lokk inside with a flashlight at the tubes inside. If there is debris, remove the inlet hose and move it out of the way. Then you can pick any crap out and let it fall into bilge.
