I think I missed something, or am confusing posts. Didn't you just post the other day about drive issues, and repairs, and now you have a new boat? Did you just trade the old one in and say screw it? Congratulations, the new boat is beautifull, please post some details.

Funny you mentioned that...I am so used to having my old boat trimmed down to compensate for the rough waters in Havi, out of habit I was trimmed up very little...After an hour of driving I trimmed up a bit between Half and 1/4 and that is when the boat opens up...Wow what a difference trim makes on this boat...a lot more responsive than my 220 eagle.

We did have drive issue with our old boat..We were already thinking about getting a bigger boat in the past...The bill came in along with other stuff we needed to do to it and we decided to use that money on this bad boy..(smoking deal). We traded the old boat in and got this one that was on the showroom floor...The design is good (kinda miss the whole build process) but I like the fact that we did not have to wait 8-10 weeks for the boat to be ready!

Congrats on the Eagle! I picked up my 28 Eagle last November and now have around 35 hours on the 525 and it is really starting to kick some ass. I love my boat and Eliminator has taken amazing care of me.
Enjoy your new boat! I'll look for you out there.

Sorry for not being clear on a couple of things...Here are some details
260 Eliminator Eagle with the 496 HO package (Bravo 1x drive). Open Bow Cuddy Cabin. Boat rides like a dream...Totally love the exhaust under the water line and never have to worry about the noise factor...The boat planes really quick and has awesome pick up (the HO package fits this boat perfectly) http://www.glamisdunes.com/invision/uploads/post-4174-1116260929.jpg
Lots of Interior room and the cuddy cab is a nice feature. This boat was a showroom floor model and we figured that we did not want to wait to get a boat built so we pulled the trigger.http://www.glamisdunes.com/invision/uploads/post-4174-1116260914_thumb.jpg http://www.glamisdunes.com/invision/uploads/post-4174-1116260754.jpg. The came with a boost gauge for when I am ready to whipple it. We put in about 6 hrs of break time into the boat at the lake....The boat is a rocket. I pumped the boat to 5100 rpm and the speedo read 73 so I figure we were running at about 68 on GPS which is good, I think. She handles and turns on a dime. No chine walking at high speeds and she loves to be trimmed up. Great boat and hope to have it for many years until the next bug bites us.

I saw you and your boat...I was thinking that it was a VERY nice ride....
I was in a White F-150 with a mattress set in the back (not towing anything)...Don't know if you could have seen my Carrera sticker or not but I know I passed you around dusk or later somewhere on the 10.
