If so, you know that the baja 500 is going on right now. There is also a live audio stream of weatherman if you want to listen.
Click on the link and then go to the deZert people link on top and that open to forums. Go to the second sticky Desert Racing and then Baja 500 weathman(first thread).

I don't think so. If your friend has a protruck he would be in protruck class.

You would think but I looked on the entry list and I don't think I saw his name. For some reason I think his last name starts with an M. I hate when I have a blonde moment. :hammer2:

I didn't see one. There's a Tim Morton. He's running class 21 which is stock mini.

Never mind Motta is on a dirt bike. Dang this is really bugging me now.
This organized confusion on the radio is making me LOL. I feel there pain though. I did scoring when the hubby raced and it is not easy to read numbers when 4 or more people go thru at once that is for sure. :)

He is driving a car class 9 or 12-1600. His name is Tony Murray.

They asked a while ago if they were going to extend the time past 10pm becuz of the pile up. And he said 60 cars. I have no idea if he was kidding about the # of cars or not.
I would have flipped out already with all the confusion on the radios. :2purples:

That hill caused a lot of problems. They extended the course time by 2 hours cause of it.

Just got home from the 500. We split driving with Tony Licitra in the Pro Truck. We ended up 5th wich was pretty good considering everyone elses problems. It was definitly a rough race for Mexico. We were stuck 2 hours behind that bottle neck. I can only imagine how much worse it got with the slower classes. The cut off time was supposed to be 17 hours but I heard it got extended also. Gordon won the Trophy Truck class.

Congrats man! I wish I could've gone. My girlfriend worked rescue 1 down there and had a great time. Score flew her there and back in a helicopter. She was back in San Diego by 12:30 or so and home an hour after that. Lucky!!!
