I picked up some fuel at Willow, although I think I could have made it back no problem. Just not used to the fuel tank readings yet.
Dan, beautiful boat you have there and look forward to an ocean run or two later in the year. Nice to meat you and Derek.

I know of one boat....gave a tow in from GA :rolleyes: I only burned approx. 50 gals (1/2 tank) round trip...

I know of one. Blue Ultra, the guy only knows two speeds, idle and hammer down.

I know of one boat....gave a tow in from GA :rolleyes: I only burned approx. 50 gals (1/2 tank) round trip...

the truck belonged to the same crew w/the top-end damage, it was part of their tow back to cottonwood :(

No i didn't run out, i'm going back there in a couple of weeks so i'll see how it does then,
I have a question is the water level always that high i noticed that up by the dam it got a little shallow and i would hate to tear up the props or drives when i go back up there.

Scream's friends, Frank and Kelly, in the black and red laser ran out as well about 4 miles up from Cottonwood. He hasn't had his boat very long and we all jonesed on the small fact that the second half is a lot smaller than the first in a v-hull. oops :eek:

depending on water release from the dam it does get shallow at times Dan...
Its usually pretty obvious what its doing.
Some areas that were buried when we were up there sat I've seen as an island before
