Looking to upgrade the old 6.5" two ways. I would like to go with seperates. I have been checking out JL's new marine seperates that are a little larger. Also have been considering Polk momo series, Phoenix gold and the lesser line of Boston Acoustics. They dont have to be marine grade. Runnning a 4 channel Phoenix Gold amp that is 40-50 watts a channel...forgot the model number but its a few years old. Any stereo guru's have any input?

Check and see if Froggystyle still has pg speakers left... He had some good deals..
If you seriously are considering Polk momo, pm me. I can hook you up...
Boston makes a great speaker, but they really shine in their pro series...

I've personally been very happy with Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.5's. But since upgraded to JBL GTi 6.5's and am even happier. To date the JBL's are the best I've heard for car audio seperates.

I have been very happy with the Polk Momo's that I installed in the boat.
they sound great
The price was right (Check with Roz as his prices were amazing :220v: )
They are rated for moisture
The grill is sturdy and looks good.

I am running the SL series of the Boston Acoustics and are quite happy with them.
