Chucky Cheese isn't franchising anymore....so I'm looking for ideas on good franchises that would be comparable.
Any ideas or suggestions? What's the hot family entertainment places on the west coast?

There's a place called Grazinnos in Corona that's pretty cool!! It has good food, T.V's and a play area for the kids with video games and tickets to get prizes!!!! They also have a long table sitting area for partys like Baseball or birthdays............
OH, and they sell beer too :D

Dave and Busters. HUGE game area with prizes. Nice sized bar for the adults. Actually I think adults have more fun with the games there than the kids do.

Dave and Busters...
That looks exactly like what we are looking for.....but their website says "All domestic Dave & Buster's stores are company-owned and operated. We do not provide franchise licenses for domestic locations." - dammit!
keep the ideas coming!

How about Discovery Zone.
That was what my gf was thinking. She went to one in Columbus, Ohio as a kid. I didn't find much on the net about them except an old article saying they had filed chapter 11, were ~$200M in debt, and were going to try to dig out.
Anyone know if they are still open? Everything I've heard said it's a cool place.

We are looking for a place where a family can go and the parent can relax and the kids can blow off steam. D&B's looks ideal, but saddly they are not franchising in the US (but they will internationally if you open min 5 store...what their home page said).

John's Incredible Pizza. Makes Chucke Cheese look like small joint. The one we go to is on Central north of the 10 freeway. Upland I think. All you can eat & they have beer. I think they are a franchises co. :p

That was a great place. I used to take my nieces and nephews there when I had to baby sit, but I haven't seen one for a while since the one near me closed.

Peter Piper Pizza was an ok place we had a kids birthday there, all you can eat pizza, and they'll make any type you want, video games, skeeball, smaller than a Chuck E Cheese but did the job, by the way what age range are you looking for?

Toddler up to teenager. There is already a place close that seems to have become the dropping ground for local middle school kids. We want a place where parent can come and not have to worry about how their 3yr old acts. A buddy described it as a "places where there this a fair amount of noise that will absorb an active 2 year old."

Oggi's Pizza and Brewery is a good pizza/restaurant located in Orange County and San Diego County that offers good food, and has a game room for the kids. Also, their mini brewery beers are very good. They are also like a sports bar, with t.v's all over the place. And yes, they do franchise.
