My amateur poker run videos

A couple of horrible amateur videos....I was videotaping plus keeping an eye on rear traffic. In the first video at the very end we get cutoff and roosted by a 36 spectre. I had to shut the camera off and wipe my glasses down. The second video is when we are hauling ass in pretty clean water and we ended up 4th to the first stop. That MTI can flatout run! Its amazing how smooth the ride is.

I believe it was Tim with the 36 spectre from up north. I mean we got showered and couldnt see anything for a what seemed like a minute but Im sure was only 3 seconds. Anyhow shiat happens...Im not sure why he choose to cut us off but maybe someone force him to?? He's actually a very nice person so Im sure it wasnt on purpose!

Oh, and the dog in the little life jacket was classic when we were all circling around Thompson waiting for the parade. ;)

That was a blast and I realy want to thank Ron and Shawn Gibson for having the trust in me to drive their boat. Shawn Gibson did an excellent job on the Throttles. Deano (Unleashed) and Russ (Sea Tow) were always on the ball when we needed to know what was behind or beside us. Rocko didn't flinch during the whole run. (Rocko my 4lb dog was hooked to my vest)
I like running in poker runs a lot better than putting them on now!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Deano the video is pretty cool, did you ever talk to the guy in the Spectra Who hosed us on the start?

Yea, The stupid grin needs to be surgically removed from my face. I'm not exactly sure what our top speed was. Deano or Shawn probably know, I was busy looking infront of us, the lake looks totally different when you are moving like that. :)

Fun nights at the Turtle and Kokohos. Good to see you guys out and about and Cadie was in her usual form...calling all us Havasuians boat posers! Rocko loves it, He's spent more time in a boat than most people, and more time over 100mph than most people. I have a clip on my lifeline that hooks to his vest so he cant fly out. He cracks me up because when ever we are in a no wake zone, he wants to walk the deck. :cool:

The motors ran real strong! In fact too strong. Now I have to buy bigger wheels and probably re-gear the outdrives. I'm running 17 X 35 four blade cleavers now. In the hunt for some nice used Herrings. :) We did have one water pump shaft bearing start to give out after the end of the run. No biggie. It's under warranty from the manufacturer.
