Miramonte Rsort
Quiet and uncrowded. But very upscale. Nice pool, cabanas, great bar and as I recall they had a few casita style rooms so you can f*ck real loud. :D

I prefer the Desert Springs Marriott (http://www.desertspringsresort.com/#) . Great pools, excellent choice of restaurants..and Costas is always a cool place to hang out at night. Have fun !

I too agree that the Desert Springs Mariott is the way to go. I was out there for Valentines Day this year and definitely exceeded my expectations. Great facilities and a great spa as well. Only about 15 minutes from downtown Palm Springs. I would highly recommend it. I plan on going back in the next 2 months.
Another great place that you have to try for a killer dinner is "The Falls" in downtown Palm Springs. Great little Martini bar and excellent food. Kind of pricey, but you get what you pay for. :)

Desert Springs Marriott used to have a time share there and went ALL the time before we started the river. have to get a room over looking the pool and then they have (had) little gondolas that would take you around, got drink one night and our room was right over where the gondolas enterd the building, started throwing bread at them as they passed under us.... Think we got in trouble for that, cant remember to well was drunk........ said we were throwin bread to feed the fishes..... lol
That is a good place to stay.
