So you leaving it stock with just the upgraded wheels, or you gonna make it sick like the other vehicles? ;)

I have a couple things in mind, nothing to radical.

Not sure yet, probably AFE Intake, Edge WAM, Borla exhaust. My past trucks have run this combination and work great!

No, just rolling 16's but I keep em clean! LOL! I should have a set of 22" Brentz next week, I had Brent modify his blade style wheel to fit my liking, just hope they look good with the mods?!

Ya, I was on my way to our cabin in Lake Naciemento. I attached some photos of the wheel designs, let me know what you think? http://www2.***boat.com/image_center/data/520/2662BrentzWheelDesigns22x9Bladewheel.JPG http://www2.***boat.com/image_center/data/520/266222inBladeModified.jpg

Nice, just going to deepen the spokes a little, I see.
Watch your load rating on the 22's. Don't know if that's gonna cut it.

The tires will be good, I am not using those lo-pro's in the pics, but the Toyo 305/45/22's. As for the rims we are checking on the rating with the extra material removed and it looks OK!

My Duramax with the AFE, Edge Juice and RBP is getting me almost 20MPG non-tow and 15+ towing !! (LB7 motor)

Thats impressive! Mine is the LLY motor and it is getting considerably less mileage. (Maybe 10mpg towing)

I drove a LB7 2500 4x4 CC with a 21' Malibu and 4 adults/luggage from here to Barstow at 75-77 mph. Got 8.8 mpg. HyperTech, Gibson exh. Stock height / tires.
The owner swore that it gets crappy mileage above 70, basically chewed me out nicely, and said it get WAY better mileage under 70. The owner took the helm and drove from Barstow to Havasu and got 9.8 at 62-65.

the LLY does get a little less mileage than the LB7
about like yours 10 or so towing, 14-15 not towing (4x4 dually)
my LB7 truck pushes 20 not towing

Yeah, on the flip side:
Same LB7 truck I mentioned earlier, tailgate down, 55-60 on two lane road for repeated 50 mile trips = 425 miles, 21 gallons.

So you know that you have to do this on your next boat/trailer, right?

Yeah, you could match the 22's all the way along.
I think I would faint. I couldn't handle how good that would look. I would beg you to color-match the truck to the boat, though.

What is the difference between the tow motors. On one of my colleagues claims that he gets 19 empty and 15 towing a 21ft daycruiser of some sort. Why the big difference in mileage?

Besides horsepower/torque ratings, I'm not sure what the differences are. I also hear claims of the previous generation motor getting better fuel mileage, but who cares if you get more POWER!!!!!!!!! :D

I really get un-nerved when people start crying about mileage on a tow rig.
I didn't buy my dually for the mileage. It could get 2 for all I care. As long as it pulls what I want it to pull, looks how I want it to look, and the A/C works, WHO CARES!!!!!
