I went through Beaumont/ Banning on my way to Havasu in my new D/A 2500 Chevy. I still think I am seeing double, and pissing blood. Man, what is up with that stetch of freeway? Loved the truck besides that, and I was even aired down. :hammer2:

Don't you like the five miles of pure washboard action? I think a guy in a dually must have pissed off the Caltrans crew one day, cause those bumps are spaced just right to beat the crap out of you in a long WB truck...

If you stay in the 2 right lanes it is not bad. I really don't like that stretch of road. If you get up around 85 mph the bumps start to go away...a little.

I'll try your advice on the 2 right lanes tonite. leaving for my annual boyz in an hour.

Ditto on the right two lanes until you reach the truck scales, then it seems to smooth out.
