No more flats but what if your tire rips off that rim. Not a very big rim and you're going to be dragging your car, truck, trailer, etc. right on the ground.

TWEELS ? What a great concept. Wonder how they work/ride/wear/cost. Bet the first one on the block pays a lot, but if they are the coming thing they'll come down in price quickly (remember anything electronic?) I hope someone posts more on this...

Volvo has been testing them with Michilin. The are planned to be on the market soon. I guess they work well. All the Firestone blow outs got the tire mfg's thinking.

Ok Let's turn this around. If these tires had been on the market and someone came up with an idea of having a car supported by tires filled with air, imagine the commets.

I'm about due for a new set of tires, and since it never rains here (?), I'd be willing to try a set if the specs are right and the cost is in my ballpark. What the hell, if Volvo is testing them, they must be ok for an old guy...

You let us know how they work out, because I will be the last person running them. :D
