first thing I am going to be bumping this thing every day because I am tring to raise money for LHC's Domestic Abuse Center
The first weekend in October, I am putting on a car show (and BBQ) at LaPaz County park, (last year "our first" was a big hit) and this year I though I would like to add some HOT BOATS to the show, there will be some great prizes like a weekend in Vegas at Terribles and many other good items including Trophys, and my famous "share the wealth raffel" a 50/50 style event that puts out 3 winners at 10,20 & 40% and the house keeps 30% for domestic abuse.
so if you HB'Rs are interested in a "On Land" show I will start hitting up the local boat vendors for prizes as well and making arangements for your parking
any local Biz's that want to sponcer/advertise for the event, we are asking for $50 to get your Biz cards on the flyers (printing 5k or more copies) or more $$$ if you want front page, I am also looking for local sponcers in LHC that can donate gifts or coupons to your shops current sponcers include Burger King, Terrible's Las Vegas resort, alot of LHC realtors and so on
so far it looks like it's $25 to enter and that will get you 2 plates at the bbq and many other gifts in our goodiebags, so please let me know on this thread if HB'rs would like to join in, and if you want to sponcer please PM me

Have you already sent this info out to all the car shops and car clubs?
If I had a car I would consider it, but I do know a few car clubs, if you would like me to pass a flyer on to them.

Ok, I am confused by the date of the show. :confused: The post above is the first weekend in October which is Saturday the 1st. The web site has it listed on October 8th. Which weekend is it? If it is the 8th there is a very good chance of making it out with my car and my neighbors with their cars as well. Please post the date if you could. I really want to show my car.

I was about to say Why Not? but since I am sober right now... I checked the calendar and I am going to be at a wedding the 1st and working the 8th... Anyone have the dates on the Rod Run (Havi)? I will donate anyway though, count me in!

The 28th annual "Run to the Sun" is October 19-23 according to the web link. Entrance fee $70 prior to Oct 1, then $80.
Karl, If it is not too late, I would like to do your show with a boat. Please PM me the info, you can kick my arse for correcting you all the time at the show. :rollside:
