Got my 7 year old up so we could watch it together.
He must of asked 100 questions during the lift off, I had anwsers to 99 of them.

Anyone see it live? It was sweet. They had a camera on the main fuel tank that stayed connected and functional up until after the tank separated from the shuttle. It was bad a$$.

Right on! Never saw anything like the Shuttle rotating like that before. That was too cool!

That's part of the SOP when it launches. Amazing what a little technology can show everyone.

I've seen Saturn V's, Delta 3's and 4's launch in person.
Stood on the tarmac (under the wing of a YF-12) when a Shuttle landed.
But never seen a Shuttle launch in person. Something to add to my list! :idea:

I have a tv here at the office. I'm supposed to use it for training videos but I slapped an antenna on it so I get local channels. :D :D
Watched the whole thing LIVE. It was cool. (and it's nice to be the Boss) :cool:
