View Full Version : HWY 62 Closed or Open?

Anyone know if HWY 62/29 palms will be open on Sunday? Thursday evening had to make a trip from my home in Havasu to Orange, CA and they had HWY 62 towards 29 palms shut down due to flooding. It was all blocked off. If anyone has any info if it will be open on Sunday 7/31 I'd appreciate it. Thanks.....

you could check with Caltrans http://www.dot.ca.gov/cgi-bin/roads.cgi

It actually less miles and safer if you go the 15 to the 40 to the 95. I'm assuming your going back home to Havasu on Sunday? If you are then you won't hit any traffic as it will all be coming back to Crowdifornia.
