The dock situation is a challenge since EE and DD docks in Long Beach are no longer available to us. There will be docks available for the boats, but some of them will be end ties. It looks like we will be using some of the dock space in the fishbowl area behind the Yardhouse. Docks are assigned based on the order of entry, so late entries might not have a dock. We will have a crew at the launch ramp to help load the boats and wash.fluch the boats after the poker run.

For anybody else out there sitting on the fence - you guys need to do this thing. SCOPE puts on a first-class event. Great location, people, food, parties and eye candy. The money is nice too!
You don't need a big boat, poker runs are about luck. Plenty of people on this board have more than enough boat to have fun in the big blue - I ran it in my 21' with my trim pump wacked out; no GPS and forgot the VHF radio. Oh shit plans consisted of...if we're not back in three hours...call the CG, we're floating south.
Awesome display of machinery - lotsa blower motors (BIG blower motors, several of them under each hatch).
I hate cliche's - but......... JUST DO IT! :)

Being a card boat is a blast - somebody should snap this opportunity up. Seeing the parade of boats coming by, the chickies, it's just fun fun fun.
The wifey has been hinting around for a bigger boat, so within the next year or two I'll get one so I can enjoy the run with our 2 year old.

Yeah Baby!!! I'm doing the long course. You were going to rag on me after all my talk if I didn't, eh. Well I am 99%. Eliminator has my drive apart with a seal replacement. They originally said the seal was coming in next week, but found out that they should have had it today or at the latest tomorrow.
I will know more tomorrow. I'm sure glad I found the issue before I pounded it on the run.

Get in touch with Ray from RDS if that seal doesn't come in, he'll hook you up quick, I just picked up my drive from him on an inspection/seal replacement.

So am I reading that right, the leg to Newport and back may be in the 4-5ft range????
