my brother is starting a pool company right now. He has done some of the most kick ass pools you will ever see for way less money. Grattos, waterfalls, pebbletech, waterfeatures etc....super custom stuff.
He is doing a pool at his house right now that was bid by other companies for 180k. (2grattos,slide, 6 pump saltwater system etc..) He can get it done for half..
Pm if you want his number. He is in corona.

Hey Deano!
Who does his Plaster work? My friend and neighbor is Jeff Kerber (http://www.jeffkerber.com/) if your brother needs a company to work with New or Remodel, they rock!
See you soon I hope!

Is it RiverLiver's brother? He did Jeff's business partners pool and he is very happy with it. Done on time, also.
I think Bling Bling owns a pool cleaning company. I could be wrong.

Please PM me, I recommend Jeff A LOT! If I put my name on something I need to know if there is are problems. Thank's for keeping this between us. Jeff has done thousands of pools so I do expect some issues. I hope things worked out in the end.

I know for a fact that Blue Haven , as well as other pool companies, has either Jeff or his brother really swamped... especially in the inland empire! I'm sure the growing pains have been tough... Eventhough there can be communication issues, Jeff is considered on of the better pool surfacing companies.

Riverracerx's pool guy is excellent. Our pool project wasn't a good fit for him so he turned us on to his pool designer who will design the pool for a fee, pull the permits and manage the contractors (while getting three quotes for each part). We pay the subs directly and save a ton of money. We broke ground yesterday - gonna be awesome!
Thanks RRX!

He re-does our pool every three years. If he was NOT my nieghbor I would still have them do my work.

Unless he's experimenting with new techniques and/or products, why the heck would you re-do your pool every 3 years?

My pool is going to be needing replastering soon, just wondering what the going price was on peeble tech?

pebble tech is worth the upgrade. plaster is so yesterday. plus you can't beat the look.
if you like the plaster look and feel, do the 3M color quartz.
pebble tech is about 1/3 more than plaster, with a longer lifetime.

Expect to pay between 7-12k depending on which surface you want... Basic uses less pebbles and it pretty rough. Next step has a lot more pebbles and is about 1-1500 more due to more labor and a bit more pebbles. Next step is pebble sheen... nice but even more money...
I have pebble and love it.. Not as elaborate as some pools, but it's been VERY fun this summer:

If your interested one of customers dads does really custom pools here in town. He did a pool across the street from my dads house that had a huge real rock water fall that flowed into the deep end of the pool and had artifical rocks under the water that looked identical the real rock.. He does stuff like what riverracerx posted pics of. i can get you in touch with him if you want to see what he can do for you

We're subbing out pool ourself and I'm hacking away at some of the stuff on the weekends.
I went with Pebblesheen on my beach entry and Pebbletech in the rest of the pool. (The didn't have sheen in the color we wanted yet).
I have to say, I'm not overly thrilled with Pebble tech. My buddy went with 3M quartz and his pool is totally smooth.
My kids often come up with small cuts from rubbing up against the edge of a step. The sheen in the entire pool would be a good look, and a little less rough.
