Well....
Off to Boston this morning...... :D
Here we are at Long Beach Airport nice and early.....10:55 flight....Thanks for the wireless connection JetBlue..... ;)
Spending 3 days at Sabago Lake in New Hampshire powerboating, then down to Martha's Vineyard for another 3 days of fishing & relaxiation.....Oh I forgot I'm traveling alone with a 7 & 4 year old.....Scratch the relaxiation. :idea:
Cheryl couldn't make it with us at the last minute as her Grandfather is ill and will need some surgery on Monday......So we're on our own this time.... :frown:
I'll post some pic's of Sabago Lake in the AM...... :D

Then this will really ruin your day.............. I no longer have a SLOW Daytona. Found a replacement blower and the old guy is bolting it up. Should have roosted me when yo had the chance! Unbelievable, there was a 20mph speed difference.

Arrived in Boston at 9:30 after weather delays....
Circled Boston long enough to almost get diverted to another airport....

When you get on the ferry to Martha's buy the kids the local T shirts. The ferry town across from Jaw's Harbor is called Woods Hole. And checkout Weirs Beach in Merridth, NH. Yhe kids will love it.

SHAKEN not stirred - I grew up sailing and skiing on Sebago lake and Long lake with my parents every year for 2 weeks as a kid. Thier used to be a big paddle wheel boat that ran up and down Sebago lake from the singing bridge witch connects the 2 lakes, is it still thier? We stayed in Naples. I hope you had a great time.

Yea!....They loved it!!!
I got a DVD of the flight....They didn't stop talking the whole time....
Pilot had tp ask them to stop talking so he could comm with other planes....
Were leaving Martha's Vineyard in about a half hour....45 min ferry ride back to main land...
Then hour and a half to Logan Airport........Six hour back to LGB.....
I think we get back to Long Beach at about 8:00pm or so.....
Kid's will be wrecked tomorrow........

Grabbing the brass ring !!!!
Ever wonder where the phrase came from ????
Kids grab steel rings as the carousel goes around....
Towards the end of the ride, 4 brass rings are mixed in.....
Whoever grabs one of the brass rings gets a free ride !!!!

So....
I hook into a good sized shark......
I fought it for about an hour and a half........
Turned out to be about a 9' long and around 275-300lb Blue Shark.....
Every time it would see the bottom of the boat, it would run and spool my reel....
We got it to the boat and then let it break the line.....
I guess you don't keep Blue Sharks......I guess Mako & Threasher are the good eating ones....
I have video of it at the boat.....I'll try to convert it and post it !!!!
