Okay, so I had some friends use the pad in South Havi this weekend and when they showed up at 1am it was like 100 in the house. The house is 2 yrs old and only 1250 sq/ft. I had the a/c turned on but the thermostat had blanked out. Anybody know a good trustworthy a/c guy that could take a look at it asap?
Thanks, Nate

I used these guys for my house and my river place. Seemed very professional and I used to work with the front office gal many moons ago at McCulloch. Not sure if she is still there...name Patti.

Yeah, they figured out the battery part for the thermostat, but for some reason the place wasn't cooling down after they turned the a/c back on...
Thx 2Driver...

my thermostat does have a single AA battery in it, and if it's dead the display won't work. Did you check the battery in it?

called Koolwave...but Carey's not working. Gonna come out soon, thanks...
Be sure and check your breaker before you call anyone out. With all the thunder and lighting going on up there you may have had a quick power outage while the unit was running. 9 times out of 10 they will trip the breaker trying to start back up before the pressures equalize. If you lost power completly and you have a timer in the stat or the outside unit then it should'nt trip the breaker. If there was a brown out (dip in the voltage) for 20 to 30 seconds it would probably trip the breaker. I know they have probably checked the breaker but you never know.

Thanks Hal...you sound like you know my friends, cuz I never know with them...
I think they've already checked the breaker though. I guess the a/c is kinda working now. Doesn't blow cold air out, just cools it down to about 92 then kicks off...Oh well, we'll see what the guy says when he gets out there.
