Damage Prop Question

Stupid question....
I damaged a prop awhile back and the local prop repair guy said it couldnt be fixed anymore. Its junk to me, do you just toss them in the trash or can people use them to make a smaller pitch prop. Sounds stupid I know but I have been told that there are people that can use them. Anyone have any idea?

You can hang it on a wall and show everyone the dangers of drinking and boating :D Good question, I see prop shops with props beyond repair and wonder why they keep them.

I have ruined 2 of our props and i dont know what Jaks A$$ did with them..i will ask him and let you know :):)

almost all of the props can be repaired. call chuck at gotta hav it prop shop 951-242-5041.

Yes...almost all props can be repaired. If a leaf is really bad, they just cut it off and weld a new one on.
Will it ever be exactly the same? Probably not...but most boats wouldn't notice a small change in pitch and/or diameter.

Thanks Guys for all of your feedback. I am heading to Havasu this weekend, I may try and stop by one of the shops out there. It would be nice to have a back up prop.

Actually...that's what my prop guy calls them...but his English ain't so good.
