I usually am not a spammer, just want to let everyone know I have the hookup on all the diesel stuff and performance goodies. West Coast Diesel Performance is our shop, out of Lake Elsinore. I have done work for some board members, Sigemock (sp?), Danhercules, etc. Also drop shipped some stuff to E4L. We are not a stereo shop trying to get into the diesel game. I am an ASE Certified Master Tech, also have a ton of GM certifications. At our shop we do anything from lifts, brakes, trans upgrades, programmers, etc. All the way out to the wilder stuff such as Nitrous. Just finished studding some dmax heads on friday. Anyway, if you need anything, let me know and I will try my best. Thanks, Clyde.

Clyde installed a boost and EGT guage in an overhead mount for me in my truck. I can tell you his work is top notch and he knows his stuff not like a lot of the other Diesel guys out there.

Sir, I am looking for a quality exhaust system and the Edge Juice/Attitude set up. What type of price range am I looking at????? As far as the exhaust goes, should I be looking to run from the turbo back or cat back????? I have heard pro's and con's of both set up......Also, do you do installs of power steps????? I am in the market for the AMP Research steps......Thanks for any info....

I guess that would help letting you know what I drive....Its an 05 2500hd with the dura/alli combo....i just put on a cst 6" with 35" bfg muds....I am also going to regear it to 4:56's and would like to get a lil extra power....the 35's suck up the power and want the motor/tranny to get back into its happy zone

Just go with a cat-back, the main exhaust restriction is the stock muffler. If you come by I will show you a cut-away of a stock muffer. If you leave the cat you don't have to worry about warranty either. The edge is a sweet set-up. Depending on what monitor mount you go with, and what exhaust setup, altogether its usually around 2G's, installed. I would leave the gears stock, the diesels are usually fine with a little larger of a tire. A really good customer/friend of mines dmax went 12.17 at palmdale and he is on 34's with stock gears. I would suggest do the other mods first before you do gears.

What should I do to my 2005 2500HD Duramax? I hate the truck, it is slower then shit. I had the 8.1 in my last 2500 it was way faster then this truck. I have already taken the muffler out. But else can I do? I heard the intake doesn't do much. If the dealer sees the EDGE your shit out of luck. So what gives what can I do? Or what should I buy for it? Thanks!

You can use a programmer and gauges, just return programming to stock for dealer visits. Or just take the edge out before you go to the dealer. Just a few tweaks and it will spank the 8.1.

Tks!

Depends on what you want to get out of it. I haven't heard anyone complain about their hypertechs. The edge adds much more HP/TQ and many more options.

I have an 05 duramax. I was wondering if these upgrades would help the mileage. I'm always going up and down hills with a trailer. my average mileage right now is 13.8mpg.

What about Edge vs. Bullydog for 06 Ford 6.0? What would you reccomend?

dieseldog

The exhaust system should help your mileage. Your stock muffler is a huge restriction. I cut one open and inside it goes down to 2 1/4". Our mufflers are a straight through design.

Wow. I had my '01 Ford all done up with the Banks kit, and the new truck with the Edge installed now would flat out smoke it. I've only dialed it up to level 3, but it was interesting running on setting 2 that the onboard 'puter was telling me it was already getting one mpg better than normal.
Thanks again Clyde. You guys did a nice job and I think the pillar mount for the Attitude looks great.
Do you guys realize this is the former West Coast Rigging shop? They've got a bunch of great pics up and plenty of boat mags to pass the waiting time. :D

Got rid of the stock muffler. Hooked up the edge and attitude. All I can say is it doesn't at all feel like the same truck. Took it to the pismo dunes last weekend on level 3. With the tires dropped down to 20lbs it screamed up hills that it was barely making up before with 12lbs of tire pressure. I would of never thought a big ass crew cab could do that.

Definitely go with the angled one. It's well worth the extra $45. My buddy has the non-angled one and it's a night an day difference between his and my angled one. It makes viewing the Attitude monitor allot easier for the driver.
