Going to Ozzfest, I've been a fan since 83' and it's good to see them still kickin. The entire set is comprised of material off the first 4 records only.
Cant wait.

Dust off the black anarchy T-shirt and grow out the mullet.
The '80s are on their way back.

Maiden was my first concert. Musta been '84, the Power Slave tour. That was probably the last "good" album they put out IMHO. Bad ass concert though. I was 14, and somewhere lurking in the back of the audience was ............. MY MOM   My ears rang for 3 days and I'm partially deaf to this day :D

Maiden is my all time favorite band.I went to that same concert at the long beach arena.I too was 14 and sat 10th row center. They filmed/taped the live after death album at that concert. My mom/grandparents dropped me off to see the show.I remember i had the black zipper pants on. If i'm not mistaken twisted sister opened for them?

I think W.A.S.P. opened for them when I saw the show, 26-Mar-1985 Orange Pavilion, San Bernardino, California – USA (just looked it up). But from what I can tell, Twisted Sister was with them for most of 1984 in North America. I dunno, it's all a blur now :D
